  • Holiday Food Drive- Copper View Elementary is holding a Food Drive and all items will be donated to the Green Valley-Sahuarita Community Food Bank. Non-perishable items only. Most needed items: Peanut Butter, Cereal/Granola Bars, Canned Meats, Canned Fruits & Vegetables, Canned Soups.  (No glass containers or pre-opened items).  WHEN: Nov. 18 – 25, 2014. LOCATION: Office or Classrooms.
  • SPIRIT WEEK: NOVEMBER 24 – 26. MONDAY: CRAZY HAIR/CRAZY HAT/CRAZY SOCK DAY – Accessorize your DRESS CODE tops and bottoms with some crazy hair, hat and socks. TUESDAY: GRADE LEVEL COLOR DAY (NOT MANDATORY). KINDER:   BLUE ,  1ST GRADE:  YELLOW,           2ND GRADE:  GREEN, 3RD GRADE:  ORANGE, 4TH GRADE:   PURPLE, 5TH GRADE:   PINK. WEDNESDAY: SPORTS DAY – Come wearing your favorite sports team jersey, t-shirt or uniform. (No hats, no swimming gear, no cleats and no flip flops). Please be in sports wear or in dress code.

A few reminders: Students should not be on campus before 7:15 a.m. as adult supervision will not be available until that time. The school campus MAIN GATE will open at 7:15 a.m.The school day ends at 2:15 p.m. On “Early Release Wednesdays,” the school day ends at 1:15 p.m.

The school dress code is in place and students are expected to dress in the appropriate attire each day. The faculty and staff are looking forward to an outstanding school year! Our school expectations are for the students to put their best efforts forward and follow our Positive Intervention Support (PBIS) program of BARK:

Tax Credit Donation: You may donate up to $200 as a single person and $400 as a couple. Your Donation is fully returned in your taxes! All donations are greatly appreciated. Tax credit donations may be made at our front office or online.
